SADLER, Forrest Lyle
SADLER, Forrest Lyle Born Jan. 20, 1933, in Palmdale. Passed away July 6, 2012, in Lancaster. Forrests 35 year career was as an Instrumentation Foreman testing rocket engines at the Rocket Propulsion Lab, Rocket Site at Edwards AFB. He spent three years in the Army after Basic Training serving in Korea. He also drove a bus for Antelope Valley to and from the Rocket Site daily for 20 plus years. He is survived by his wife of 56 years Joanne, daughter Cynthia Rains of Sequim, Wash., three grandsons; Brett, David and Danny Rains; two brothers David (Peggy) Sadler of Simi Valley, Calif., and Randle (Doris) Sadler of Hoyden, Idaho and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Lyle and Josie Sadler and his sister, Beverly Peppenger. Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, July 12, 2012, at Lancaster Evangelical Free Church. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Lancaster Evangelical Free Church, Forrest Sadler Memorial Fund or to your favorite charity in his memory. Arrangements entrusted to Halley Olsen Murphy, Lancaster.
