VAN TREASE, Thomas E. 61, left this world on June 30, 2012. He was a longtime resident of the Antelope Valley and a 1968, graduate of Quartz Hill High School. He was a firefighter at Edwards for more than 34 years as well as a member and officer with the International Association of Firefighters. He continued his career as a firefighter at Disneyland for another 6 years. He is survived by his three children, his girlfriend, four grandchildren, five sisters, numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends. A Celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m., July 12, 2012, at the Moose Lodge, 44545 Division St., Lancaster.
