WRIGHT, Philip 'Phil' May 21, 1952~May 18, 2012 Phil was born in Stockwell, London, England to Irene Joan Wright and the Late John Edward Wright, and came to the Antelope Valley with his family as a youngster. He passed away at his home surrounded by his wife and extended family after a short illness. He is survived by wife Rita, his devoted mother, Joan Greene, daughters Shawna McIntyre (Scott) and Anglea Wright, and son Philip Jr., brothers Anthony J. (Tony), (Ina); John, David, (Ann) of the Antelope Valley and sister Nancy Valencia (Ray) of Portland, Oregon; aunts Jean Harris of Vancouver, B.C., and Eileen Harris and Uncle Peter Harris in England, as well as his beloved grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter Roxanne Wright in 2002. Phil was a devoted family man with a talent for woodworking. He designed, constructed, and installed custom cabinets for a variety of businesses and homes. Phil will be fondly remembered by his family and sadly missed by all who knew him. Visitation will be held at Joshua Memorial Park in Lancaster from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, May 24, 2012, with funeral services set for Friday, May 25, 2012 at 10 a.m. www.joshuamortuary.com
