GRIGLIONE, Joe D. Born Oct. 3, 1944, in Whittier, Calif. Passed in his home on May 14, 2012. Joe recently had surgery to remove a large tumor from his brain and discovered that he had terminal lung cancer and emphysema. Joe's family, originally from Italy, moved to Downey in the 1950's, and then to California City, where he resided for over 22 years. Joe was a shy, gentle, compassionate man and will greatly be missed. His father, Joe G. Griglione, his mother, Violet, and brother, Steven, preceded him in death. The family is once again reunited in heaven. Graveside services are Saturday, May 19, 2012, at 2 p.m., at Rose Hills Memorial Park in Whittier, enter Gate 17- Camellia Lawn- Section 2- Lot 2020- Grave 3.
