POWELL, Gerald Walter Born June 3, 1926, passed into his next journey May 5, 2012. Gerald is survived by his son Gerald Powell Jr. (Yvonne), daughter Anne Marie Barker (Timothy), Grandchildren Tyler, Lela Marie, Ryan, Megan, Francine, Martin, and great-granddaughter Makayla. Gerald moved his family to the Antelope Valley in 1975, where he worked for General Electric in the aerospace industry until his retirement in 1985. Jerry was involved with El Dorado Little League for many years as a coach and volunteer. A funeral service will be held Saturday, May 12, 2012, at 10 a.m. at Joshua Memorial Park, 808 E.
