KAPLAN, Lloyd Born November 6, 1927, in Hempstead, N.Y., passed on May 7, 2012, in Lancaster, Calif. Lloyd grew up in New York and moved to Los Angeles, he has lived in the Antelope Valley for 40 years. Lloyd serviced in the U.S. Army , he then was an Aeronautical Engineer. His hobbies were fishing, camping, dog breeding and showing, and baseball. Lloyd was a truly amazing Father and Grandfather. Lovingly adored by all his family and friends. He gave everything he has to those he loved. His unique sense of humor will be truly missed. Lloyd is survived by wife Beverly Kaplan, son John (Debbie) Kaplan, daughters Cathy Kaplan and Linda (Jim) Kaplan, Grandchildren Andy, Jubal, Carrie, James, Kyle, and 6 Great-Grandchildren. Services will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2012, at 1 p.m. at Halley Olsen Murphy Memorial Chapel Lancaster, Calif.
