REES, Wallace Lyons 'Walley' Age 88, passed away May 8, 2012, in Quartz Hill, California. He was born September 21, 1923, in Alameda County, California. Walley served in the Army for all the major battles of World War II as a Paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne. He retired from Coast Gas Company after many years of service. He is survived his wife Dustye, three daughters, Janet, Karen, and Lorie, his extended family, Steve, Janet, and Dave, one sister, Bea Shoemaker, six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and his beloved dog Missy. A Memorial Service will be held 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 12, 2012,at Halley Olsen Murphy , Lancaster Chapel.
