SIMS, Zachary Daniel Born November 16, 1985, in Lancaster, Calif. Passed away on April 26, 2012, while trying to arrest a suspect for skipping bail in Bakersfield, Calif. He served his country for 5 years in the U.S. Navy. He served several tours of duty overseas. Zachary is survived by his wife Carla, his 6 year old daughter Ellissa, 3 year old son Elijah, mother Vickie, stepfather Jerry, Father Vince, and stepmother Dina. Siblings Luke, Desiree, Micthell, Vincent, and Kyle. He will be greatly missed. Services will be held on Tuesday, May 8, 2012, at 10 a.m., at Green Lawn, 2739 Panama Lane, Bakersfield, Ca
