DAVIES, William Townsend
DAVIES, William Townsend April 8, 1941~ April 7, 2012 Born in Chelsea, Mass. to Edmond Frederick Davies and Myrtle B. Davies. He grew up and attended school in Newport News, Va. William enlisted in the military in 1958. In 1966, he met his wife in New York City while at the Electronic Computer Programing Institute. They have 2 children Sharon Libatique, born in New York City and Pamela Townsend born in Bergen County, New Jersey. William moved his family to California in 1972, and worked at Smith Corona as Technical Support for business machines in Los Angeles. He retired as administer of a health agency and moved to the Antelope Valley in 2004. He is survived by his spouse Lita Davies, daughters Sharon (Luis) Norman of Tucson, Arizona and Pamela (Carl) Eldana of Pompano Beach, Florida, grandchildren Bridget Norman, Naomi Eldana, siblings Richard Davies of Pa., Patricia Davies of Va. and Walter Davies of Va. Memorial service will be held on April 13, 2012, at 2 p.m. at Joshua Memorial Park & Mortuary.
