LORENTZ, Bernice Warder Born June 14, 1923, in Lima, New York. Passed away April 4, 2012, in Lancaster, Calif. She grew up in Livonia, New York, attended Hemlock High School, Park Avenue Hospital School of Nursing in Rochester, New York. She has lived in the Antelope Valley for 56 years. She was head nurse at FAA, worked in ER and as a surgical nurse. She enjoyed knitting, cooking, traveling throughout the U.S.A. and Canada. She taught Sunday School and was involved in Womens Bible Studies. Survived by her husband Floyd Thomas Lorentz, sons Kenneth Hudson (Susan) of Redding, Calif., Joe Hudson (RoseAnn) of Lancaster, Calif., daughters Kathreine England (Melvin) of Ventura, Calif., Gail King (Robert) of California City, Calif., Amy Olszewski (Stephen) of Auburn, Wash., grandchildren Julie Becker, Joseph Morris, Jacob Hudson, Vanessa Hudson, Kentra Gailey, Andrew Olszewski and 6 great- grandchildren. Also survived by 1 brother Kenneth Samuel Warder. Preceded in death by her mother Helen J. Specht, her father Chester George Warder.
