In Loving Memory Marvin B. Lawson Jan. 12, 1944 ~ March 22, 2011 A year has passed since you began your journey. Preceding you in death are your older brother, Leonard Dockman (L.D.) Lawson; Your parents, Edward Robinson and Maddlie Plummer Lawson and your second wife, Marjorie Butts Lawson. Your friends and family think of you and miss you. Your sons, Troy (Teresa), Fontana; Adrian (Kathy), Reseda; and their mother Susie Washington Lawson, Santa Monica. Our daughter, Monica (Anthony) Melendez, Woodland Hills. Your grandchildren; Brent and Elyse Lawson, Sierra and Olivia Melendez. Your sisters, Beverly Jones, Perris, Valeria Lewis, Vallejo, Calif. and your brothers Sherrill and David Lawson, Alexandra, La. A special thank you to cousins Almore and Judy Harrison, Gordon and their family in Lancaster for listening and consoling you and then coordinating your memorial service (April 2011). You would say to me, 'youre going to miss me when Im gone!' I miss you, I miss us as a couple. I miss your singing (bass) and your Percussion (instruments) in the band, your background and character acting on TV and Movies, years ago. Before than you worked for Lockheed Martin (Burbank), McDonnell Douglas &Hughes (Fullerton) aircraft as a draftsman. We met before those days as we both worked at the U.C.L.A. Hospital, you as a recovery room technician , so many years ago. Your last words, you spoke to me, 'You really did love me.' Yes, my love. Yes, I really did love you.
