KEARNEY, Katherine R. Age 84, passed away in Lancaster, Calif. on March 25, 2012, following a battle with Alzheimers disease. She was born December 20, 1927, in Shamrock Creek, Okla. to Clyde and Alta Neale. She lived in the AV since 1953. Katherine spend 20 years in the aerospace industry retired in 1992. Katherine enjoyed spending time with her family and friends as well as donating her time to many charitable organizations. She is survived by her three children, Linda (Ray) Santana, Bill (Joann) Kearney and Bob (Toni) Kearney all of Lancaster as well as two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her two sisters Valasta Shook, Loretta Barnes and brother Doug England. Services for Katherine will be held on Saturday March 31, 2012, at 10:15 a.m. at Joshua Memorial Park in Lancaster. A pie and coffee reception will be held at Lighthouse Christian Fellowship Church following the service.
