EDMINISTER, Ina Mae May 7, 1928 ~ Feb. 20, 2012 Beloved wife and mother, Ina Mae Edminister has gone to her heavenly home on Monday, February 20, 2012. Ina was 83 years young. She was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on May 7, 1928. On August 10,1944, at the age of 16, she married the love of her life, Eugene (age 18), in Norfolk, Virginia, just prior to him being shipped off to war. Ina battled many life-threatening issues for the majority of her life including heart disease, diabetes, cancer, and kidney disease. She bravely accepted these challenges, and lived her life to the fullest, always pushing her limits, striving to achieve a normal life. She was a very strong and determined individual who deeply loved life and her family. Ina is preceded in death by two sisters, a nephew, a grandson (Ben), and her eldest son's wife Patty. Ina is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Eugene; 3 sons: David of Palmdale, Calif., (who's wife Patty succumbed to cancer on Feb. 9, 2012), Dale of Mojave, Calif., (and wife Sue), Daniel of Hudson, N.C., (and wife Tammy), 1 daughter: Deborah of Tacoma, Wash., (and husband Dan Henry), 17 grandchildren (Nine granddaughters and eight grandsons), 23 great-grandchildren (13 great-grandsons and 10 great- granddaughters), and 1 additional great-granddaughter (Hazel) expected in three months. She is loved and will be greatly missed.
