BROCKWAY, Noreen M. (Humphrey) of Lake Los Angeles passed away on January 22, 2012. Noreen was 54 years old and lived in the community of Lake Los Angeles for over 27 years with her husband Michael. She watched and assisted in helping the community grow by being active in getting the local park started and an elementary school built not only for her children but for future generations. Noreen held several types of positions over the years: Dental Tech, Bus Driver, Crossing Guard, Retail Sales, Instructional Aide and her last, Speech Therapist Aide. She was happiest when working with "Her Kids" at school. She is survived by her sister, Nancy Fitzpatrick, her husband of over 29 years, Michael, and their sons Michael and Matthew, grandchildren: Chloe, Ayden, Travis and Logan. She has left us to be with her parents Harry and Loretta Humphrey, her sister Kathrine (Kitty) and brother Harvey James (Jim). She was born in Elmhurst, Illinois, and moved to the Canyon Country area in 1964, with her parents. She met up with Michael Brockway several years after high school, married and then started their family together. A Memorial Service will be held at 5 p.m., Saturday, January 28, 2012, at Eternal Valley Memorial Park Mortuary, Newhall, Calif. The family has requested in lieu of flowers to please make a donation to your local Childrens Hospitals as she said "They are all my kids." A gathering of family and friends to follow the services.
