POITRAS, Leon Louis Born November 6, 1932, in Antigo, Wisconsin. Passed away January 15, 2012, at home. He graduated high school in Lander, Wyoming; received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Wyoming. Served his country in the U.S. Navy. He has lived in Santa Clarita for 46 years. He was an engineer for Lockheed Skunk Works. His special award was District Award of Merit with the Boy Scouts of America. His hobbies included skiing, hiking, windsurfing and sailing. Survived by his wife of 57 years Barbara, sons Paul (Laurie), Mark (Taya), Eric (Marcy), Robert (Kari), 11 grandchildren Jillian, Matt, Jenna, A.J., Elise, Danielle, Madison, Connor, Lauren, Ryan and Drew. Services will be held at 12 noon, Saturday, January 28, 2012, at Saint Clare Church, 19606 Calla Way, Santa Clarita, Calif.
