HOLLOWAY, Illene Mae Born July 23, 1931, in Detroit Mich. Illene passed away peacefully the evening of December 30, 2011, in Palmdale, Calif., from age related complications. She was 81. Born Illene Mae Ray to Chalmer and Clementine Ray, Illene married Meredith Edwin Holloway December 7, 1947, in San Diego, Calif. Ed passed away in October 2011. Illene is survived by her two sons Charles Meredith Holloway, and Steven Ray Holloway, and three grandchildren Chad Meredith Holloway, Kimberly Ann Morales, and Kellie Marie Holloway children of Charles and Emelda of Eugene, Ore. Illene was a homemaker. She loved scrap-booking along with various arts and crafts, working in her garden and cooking. In her younger day, she loved to fish, attend bluegrass festivals, and play music with the family. She was ornery at times, but had a heart of gold. She will be missed. There is no service planned, but a Celebration of Life will take place in the summer. While we were young, we remember a very loving and attentive mother. She will be missed.
