THOMPSON, Donald Clayton Born in El Paso, Texas on September 23, 1957, and wouldnt ever let you forget that Texas and the Cowboys were special, and to him and his twin Robert, that made them special too. He graduated from Palmdale High School in 1976, and was very proud of being part of the Bicentennial class. He always knew he would go into the army, and did later that year. He loved being a soldier. He died on January 12, 2012, and was predeceased by his parents: Clayton R. Sr. and Carolyn Thompson, his brothers Clayton R. Jr. and Robert L. (his twin), and sister Debbie Thompson, who he took very good care of. He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law Terry and Tony Mitchell of Reno and a very anti-social cat called puppy. He wouldnt wish his friends to mourn him, but to follow their hearts he did, and he was special. Viewing will be held from 5 to 7 p.m., Tuesday, January 17, 2012, at Halley-Olsen-Murphy Chapel, 3150 E Palmdale Blvd. Palmdale, CA 93550. Graveside will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, January 18, 2012, at Desert Lawn Memorial Park Palmdale, Calif.
