SINOHUI REYES, Socorro Born May 4, 1926, in Bisbee, Arizona. Passed away January 2, 2012, in Palmdale, Calif. Socorro, better known as 'Cora' to her family and friends has been a resident of the Antelope Valley since 1947. Her hobbies include sport fishing, gardening, and cooking.She also did some volunteer work in Palmdale for special need children from 1980 Ð 1991.She survived by her husband, Adolph V. Reyes, step-sons, Arthur, Anthony, Edward, and Robert, brother, Juan M. Moreno, sisters, Beatrice Perez, Artimasa Meaux, Nellie Robles, Carmen Maldonado, Maria Elena Sinohui, Rita Lydia Monrez, and Trinidad Lopez, and great-granddaughter, Allison Burwell.Cora had been a beloved wife, step-mother, and sister.Her passing will leave a lasting memory to all who knew her.A visitation will held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., with a funeral service at 1 p.m., both today, Friday, January 6, 2012, at Chapel of the Valley Mortuary with interment to follow at Desert Lawn Memorial Park.You may sign the condolence book at chapelofthevalley Chapel of the Valley Mortuary, Palmdale.
