LARA, Henry Born June 14, 1930. Passed away December 29, 2011, in Lancaster, Calif. He grew up in Santa Barbara and has lived in the Antelope Valley for 22 years. He enjoyed gardening, family gatherings, loved eating barbecue, card games and always kept himself busy. He was a member of the Knight of Columbus Council in Lancaster. Survived by his wife Martha R. Lara, 2 children, 4 step-children, 19 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Viewing will be held from 4 to 8 p.m., Thursday, January 5, 2012, at Joshua Memorial Park & Mortuary. Services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, January 6, 2012, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Lancaster.
