VARBLE, Rachel T. Born June 13, 1917. Passed away December 31, 2011. Rachel is survived by her four children, William Varble (son); Barbara Gwyther (daughter); Robert Varble (son); & Beverly Mewborne (daughter); 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Rachel was preceded in death by her husband Lewis and daughter Janet. She was a beautician and later worked at Lancaster Community Hospital as a nurse. Rachel enjoyed crocheting beanies and baby blankets. A gathering of friends and family will be held at the home of Beverly Mewborne on Friday, January 6, 2012 at 12:00 PM.
