LAROSA, William A. Age 79 of Palmdale, Calif. Passed away on December 24, 2011. He was born and raised in Brooklyn, N.Y. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ann in 1987, father, William Vito, mother, Irene, and brother, Anthony William. He served proudly in the Air Force during the Korean Conflict, as an air traffic controller. He continued that career path with the F.A.A. for 34 years. He worked at J.F.K. International Airport in New York, Edwards Air Force Base, and retired from Burbank Airport. He is survived by his two sons and daughter-in-laws, William and his wife Dena, Michael and his wife Tracy. He also leaves behind four granddaughters to cherish his memory, Kimberly and Katherine LaRosa of Palmdale, Jacqueline Van Wyck and husband Curtis of Washington and Lindsay LaRosa of Thousand Oaks, brother-in-law Joseph Domingo of Sacramento and sister-in-law Patricia LaRosa and numerous nephews and nieces in New York. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, January 3, 2012, at Chapel of the Valley Mortuary, Palmdale Calif.
