HARRIS, Carolyn A. 69 years old. Passed away on December 26, 2011, in Lancaster, Calif. Born in Jacksonville, Arkansas to James (Doyle) Montgomery and Vaudie Johnson. She lived in Lancaster for 39 years where she was a housewife and mom. She was a member of Lancaster Moose Post #1219, Quartz Hill VFW, Lancaster American Legion #311, Lancaster Eagles #2985 and Palmdale Elks. She was a avid bowler. Survived by her sons Anthony Harris (Barbara) of Orlando, Florida, Mark Harris (Virginia) of Omaha, Nebraska, Robert Harris (Dorothy) of Kiln, Mississippi, and Allen Harris (Robin) of Lancaster, Calif., 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Also survived by her sister Wanda Malone and her companion Ramon Hernandez. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years in 2008 Harold W. Harris. Services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, January 12, 2012, at Joshua Memorial Park & Mortuary, 808 E. Lancaster Blvd, Lancaster, CA 93535.
