LANDI, Val William Born July 27, 1949, in Los Angeles, Calif. He was taken home just in time to celebrate Christmas with his Savior. Passed away December 24, 2011, in Lancaster, Calif. He grew up in Pasadena, Calif., and has lived in the Antelope Valley for 3 years. He retired after 30 years of service as at butcher at Vons. He enjoyed fishing, hiking and camping. He was also a survivor of two near fatal accidents. Survived by his wife Catherine Landi, sons Phillip Chapin of Pueblo, Colo., Joel Landi of Canyon Lake, Calif., David Landi of San Marcos, Calif., step-son Gregg Bechard of Las Vegas, Nev., daughter Dawn Landi of San Marcos, Calif., step-daughters Gerry Bechard of Palmdale, Calif., Gayle Smith of Temecula, Calif., Gwen Diebold of Lancaster, Calif., grandchildren Kali Brooke (15), Kennedi Reid (10) and Brooke (4). Also survived by his parents William and Mary Landi of Pasadena, Calif., sister Carole Bastia (Duane).
