KEIPE, NORMA JEAN
KEIPE, Norma Jean Born and raised in Indiana, passed away Dec. 15, 2011, from liver cancer. She retired from FAA after 30 years. She was married to Leonard Keipe for 34 years. She came to the Antelope Valley in 1963. She enjoyed traveling, playing bridge, gardening, loved cats, antiquingÉÉ. A true shopper. Volunteered at the Senior Center in Lancaster, Calif., was a member of National Active and Retired Federal Employees Association, and First Lutheran Church in Palmdale. She is preceded in death by her husband Leonard M. Keipe, and brother Donald Wayne Sprague. Survivors include daughters Carol Galier (Pete), Janis Newland (Dave), grandchildren Gina Woolner (Mike), Christa Galier, Jonathan Galier, Bryson Newland (Christine), Tyler Newland, and her 1st great-grandchild, Mikayla Woolner who would always put a sparkle in her eye. Also her brother Paul Melvin Sprague from Edinburgh, Indiana. Youll always be in our hearts Mom, We Will Miss You!! Give Dad a hug for us. Services will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday Dec. 21, 2011, at First Lutheran Church 38343 N. 15th St. E. Palmdale, CA 93551. Interment to follow at Desert Lawn Memorial Park in Palmdale, Calif.
