CROSLEY, Richard Hames Beloved husband, father, 'poppy', son and friend passed away December 10, 2011. He was born in Torrance, Calif., on Feb. 2, 1946, the first son of Vearl and Alvena Crosley. He graduated from Long Beach State University and proudly served our country as a Naval aviator. Richard spent most of his years working at HR Textron on the space shuttle program. He actively participated in his church, Desert Vineyard Christian Fellowship. He is survived by his wife of thirty years, Elaine, and his three sons Greg (Shannon), Scott (Ayame), and Ken. he will also be missed dearly by his eight grandchildren, his father, and two brothers, Bruce and Dwight and their families. He will be remembered mostly for his passion for his family, faith, friendships and his love of flying. he was a master craftsman and enjoyed spending his spare time creating and building things with his hands. His fun-loving spirit, sense of humor, humility, and his love for people will be greatly missed by those blessed to have known him. We have great comfort knowing he is in the presence of the Lord. A celebration of Richs life will take place at 11 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 17, 2011, at Desert Vineyard Christian Fellowship, 1011 E. Ave I, Lancaster, CA 93535.
