WOODRUFF, James A. Jr. Born July 4, 1945, in Fort Worth, Texas. Passed away Nov. 28, 2011, in Templeton, Calif. He lived in Marshall, Texas until age 17. He has lived in the Antelope Valley for 30 years, graduating from AV High School. He was a Los Angeles Sheriff Deputy, retired from East Los Angeles Station. Rockwell/Boeing Security retired. He enjoyed traveling, fishing, hunting and NASCAR. The last 10 years have been enjoyed by traveling with his beloved wife Patti and dog Sadie in their motorhome. Survived by his wife Patricia Woodruff, son Pat Woodruff (Stacy), daughter Amanda Tomlinson (Monty), 5 grandchildren, Tyler, James Dylan, Krista, Jeremy and Katie. Also survived by his sister Georgina Blackwell. Preceded in death by his parents James A. Woodruff and Maranell Good Woodruff. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, December 17, 2011, at Lancaster Baptist Church, 4020 East Lancaster Blvd, Lancaster, Calif. In lieu of flowers please donate to your favorite charity.
