SMITH, James Harry Born Jan. 27, 1959, in Lancaster, Calif. Passed away Nov. 14, 2011, in Quartz Hill, Calif. He grew up and attended school in Quartz Hill. Served 4 years in the U.S. Army. Survived by his wife Laurie Smith, sons James, Lucas, Kaleb, Billy Matthew, daughter Jaime, and 5 grandchildren. Also survived by his mother Margie Smith and 4 sisters. Preceded in death by his father and brother. Services will be held at 9 a.m., Friday, Dec. 9, 2011, at St. Marys Catholic Church, Rosamond.
