WINTERS, Donald 'Don' Ray Jr. 58, of Rosamond, California, passed away November 30, 2011, in Rosamond, his home since 1999. He was born March 21, 1953, in Washington County, Pennsylvania. Don was a well known and respected superintendant of heavy equipment from Australia to Panama and all over the world. Don was a very active 30 year member of the Rosamond Moose Lodge, where he loved to dance and cook dinners and breakfasts for his community and fellow man. He will be missed by all. Don is survived by his wife of 20 years, Carol; sons, James Rogers and James Huddleston, and daughters, Tomara Winters and Tina Schmeck. He was the beloved son-in-law of Elsia Collins, beloved brother of Dan and Sharon Winters, loved grandfather of 7, brother-in- law, uncle, and several adopted family members. Don is loved by all. He was preceded in death by his mother, Wilma Jean Gaddy, father, Donald Ray Winters, Sr., step-father, Arthur Gaddy, brother, Billy Gaddy and granddaughter, Tabitha Hoyt. His memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, December 7, 2011, at the Rosamond Moose Lodge, 1105 Sierra Highway, Rosamond. Arrangements by Stickel Mortuary, 661-824-2328.
