KUSTER, Lee Douglas Beloved Dad, Granddad, Uncle, and Friend went home to be with his Lord on November 30, 2011. He was 81 and was a well-loved music teacher at Mojave High School for 40+ years. Born on Dec. 23, 1929, in Grace, Idaho, he graduated Magna Cum Laude from Montana State University in 1951. He began his music teaching career on a Blackfoot Indian Reservation in Browning, Montana in 1951, and moved his family to Mojave, California in 1954, to establish the music program at Mojave Junior/ Senior High School. He is survived by the love of his life-his wife of 60 years, Joan Kuster, his children; Terry (Sides) and her husband, Greg, Ken Kuster and his wife, Tammy, and Tim Kuster, his grandchildren: Justin Kuster and Afton Sides, and numerous nieces and nephews. A celebration of his life will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, December 10, 2011, in the Mojave Mustang Gym. In lieu of flowers, a Memorial Scholarship Fund has been established in his name at Mojave High School.
