SCHAEFER, Donald G. Born May 4, 1927, in Buffalo, N.Y. Passed away Nov. 2, 2011, in Lancaster, Calif. Lived in the Antelope Valley since March 1970. He worked in Aerospace for 42 years. He served in the U.S. Navy. Survived by his wife Martha Schaefer of Lancaster, daughters Susan Aldridge (Bobby) of Vancouver, Wash., Audrey Dew (Earl) of Lynnwood, Wash., sons Bruce Schaefer (Tammy) of Lynnwood, Wash., David Schaefer (Nancy) of Scarborgh, Maine, sister Dorsey Lander (Earl) of Reseda, Calif., grandsons Michael Barone, Jeffrey Barone, Vincent Barone (Jessica), Matt Schaefer, Justin Schaefer, Jared Schaefer, Nathan Hunt (Mallori) granddaughter Charity Neilton (Travis), step-grandchildren Hayden, Holden, Katelin, 4 great- grandchildren. He was a fantastic and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle. He will be greatly missed. He was our best friend. We loved to listen to his great stories about his life.
