BAILEY, Clarice Elithe (Voris) July 15, 1926 ~ October 6, 2011 Clare passed into life eternal during the early morning hours of October 6, 2011. She was at home in Meridian at the time of her passing. Clare spent her childhood in Washington, Arizona, and California. She attended the University of Redlands receiving her BA in 1949. She married Richard L. Bailey (deceased) and lived in Colorado. After Richard received his degree, they returned to California. They then had three children, Roderick, Michael, and Victoria. Clare taught school for 25 years at Eastside Union School District in the Antelope Valley. She started teaching there in 1966. During the first couple years, she also went to Azusa Pacific University receiving her Masters Degree in Education. She enjoyed her students very much. In 1996, she decided to leave Lancaster and move to Meridian, Idaho, where she lived with her daughter, Victoria, until the time of her passing. Clare loved the outdoors and animals. She loved being out in the sun and working in the yard. She is survived by her three children, Roderick (Mary), Michael, Victoria (Steve); as well as three grandchildren, Ian, Kevin, and Brittany; nephews, nieces, and cousins. There will be an open house at the home of Steve and Tory (Victoria) 4338 W Moon Lake Dr., Meridian ID 83646, on Saturday, October 22, 2011 from 2 to 4 p.m. If anyone wishes to make a donation they may do so to the Idaho Humane Society in Clares honor.
