TORO, PATRICIA E.
TORO, Patricia E. 51 of Lancaster. God called Patricia home to Heaven on September 24, 2011, at Kaiser -Sunset in Los Angeles. Patricia was born on October 11, 1959, in Fresno, Calif., to Ralph and Evelyn Keith. Patricia grew up in Pasadena with her mother, Evelyn, brother Lance Keith (and wife Sylvia) and sister Pamela Keith, who now survive her. In 1980, Patricia married and subsequently moved to the Antelope Valley, where she resided continuously thereafter. Patricia, ever independent and fearless, raised five wonderful and loving children, Schatem Toro Boyd, Deanna Tae Toro, Shane Toro, Tricia Toro and Dean 'D.J.' Toro, all of whom were the focus of her love and life and all now survive her. Patricia enjoyed all activities with her children, including surfing, camping, hiking, cheerleading. Patricia was always first and foremost, a mom - a calling at which she excelled. Patricia also enjoyed time with her granddaughters, Taylor Keith and Jenna Butchart Toro, both sources of constant love, laughter and joy. Patricia lost her nearly two year battle with brain cancer. A battle that she fought courageously with her best friend and companion Dennis Greer, her loving children and her faithful dog 'Chance' beside her every step of the way. Patricia was a full time Realtor for almost 20 years and received numerous awards and other forms of professional recognition for her achievements and production. While she enjoyed her successes in the real estate profession, it was the time Patricia and family spent at the ocean that was an even larger source of joy and accomplishment for Patricia. Patricia would want to thank her special extended family at GAVAR, Coldwell Banker and all those individuals that have offered encouragement and support to her and her family. No funeral or graveside services will be necessary as Patricia's ashes will be carried by the breeze over the California coastline so that she may finally enjoy the ocean for all time.
