HENRY, Vera Lynette Born on October 2, 1954, to Herbert and Mary Henry, in Rantoul, Illinois at Chuhute Air Force Base. Vera graduated from Desert High School at Edwards, California and continued her education at Antelope Valley College where she received her associates degree. Vera worked at Edwards Air Force Base in the Financial Office until 1983. Vera loved to sew and make her own clothing. She also loved to listen to music, watch old movies and go shopping. Vera passed away in her home on September 24, 2011. She is preceded in death by her father Herbert Henry Sr. She is survived by her mother Mary Henry, sister Audrey Hawkins, brother Herbert Henry Jr., 3 nephews, 3 nieces, 3 great-nephews and a host of family and friends. Viewing will be held from 4 to 8 p.m., Friday, Sept. 30, 2011, Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 1, 2011, both at Joshua Memorial Park & Mortuary, Lancaster. www.joshuamortuary.com
