ARNOLD, Ted Born November 12, 1941, in Reading, Pa., Ted Arnold aka Arnold Minter passed away August 27, 2011, in Palmdale, Calif. He is survived by his wife, Carol, son and daughter, Jacob and Sarah Beth, all of Palmdale, sister, Myrna Minter- Forster of NYC, and Aunt Rebecca Newman of New Jersey. Whether performing or recording standards, jazz, early rock & roll and folk music on bass or listening to his massive collection, Teddys love for music only partially defined this generous, warm, self-described crazy, creative, funny, intelligent son of the 60s, who above all else believed in the importance of family and helping others. 'We are here to make sure we continue to be here,' he would say. He loved to debate religion, politics and social issues and gave tirelessly of his time and himself to those around him. He will be dearly missed by so many. A Memorial celebration of Teddy's life will be held on Sunday, September 25, 2011, at the Arnold residence. For details contact tedarnold@roadrunner.com. Donations may be made to youth music programs at http://www.musicforlifealliance.com/pages/FeaturedPast.html. Arrangements entrusted to Chapel of the Valley Mortuary, Palmdale Directors.
