AUSTIN, Thelma Born Dec. 12, 1922, in Leesville, La. Passed away Sept. 15, 2011, in Lancaster, Calif. She has lived in the Antelope Valley for 45 years. Survived by her son Gerald (Kathy) of Lancaster, Calif., daughter Linda Powell (John) of Wellington, Nev., grandchildren Michael, Melissa, Darla and Lisa, great-grandchildren Scott, Kyle, Lauren, Hope and Destiny. Preceded in death by her husband Clarence. Graveside service will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 24, 2011, at Joshua Memorial Park.
