GILNER, Edward A native of California, born December 22, 1947, passed away suddenly on September 1, 2011. Ed was a Vietnam Vet and a recipient of the Bronze Star Medal, along with other military awards. He was a civilian employee with the Sheriffs Department with over 30 years of service with the County of L.A. Ed is survived by his wife of 25 years Terry Gilner, son David Gilner, daughter-in-law Rachel Gilner and 3 beautiful grandchildren, Leah, Noah and Joshua. He was loved by all and will be missed everyday. Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, September 15, 2011, at St. Clare Church, 19606 Calla Way, Santa Clarita, Calif., with reception to follow.
