CANTERBURY, BUCK
CANTERBURY, Buck Buck was born on October 13, 1946, in Ardmore, Oklahoma. He spent his early years in Ardmore, Oklahoma; Victorville, Calif., with his family finally settling in Lancaster. He attended Lancaster schools, and graduated from AV High School. He attended AV College. Later in life he worked hard and earned his Airframe and Powerplant license. He served in the Navy during the late 1960s. During this time he served in Vietnam. In 1974, he married his wife, Cynthia. They were the love of each others lives until the end. He leaves three children, Chad (Dianna), Jeremy (Susan), and Susan. In addition, he leaves three grandchildren, Joshua, Kincaid, and Mikeala. He leaves brothers, Larry, Billy, Richard and Kenneth along with two sisters Sherry and Linda. Buck loved his family with all his might, and that love was returned. He leaves many friends who were like family to him, especially Tim Fulp and Dave Mead. If you were his friend, you were the same as family, and he would always make sure you had what you needed. Buck had a great sense of humor, was always telling jokes, and always made up little sayings that would give everyone a chuckle. He could fill a room with his laughter. Remember him this way: His big smile, his booming laughter, the many jokes he told, and the fantastic dinners he would cook. Buck has been cremated, so that he will always be with his family, the one place he always wanted to be. Services were held privately for close family and friends. Arrangements entrusted to Antelope Valley Cremation Services, Lancaster.
