FOWLER, DOYLE E.
FOWLER, Doyle E. Born Nov. 12, 1931, in Seminole, Okla. Passed away Sept. 2, 2011, in Lancaster, Calif. He grew up and went to school in San Bernardino, Calif. He served in the U.S. Army, Paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne, at Fort Bragg N.C. Doyle has lived in the Antelope Valley for 55 years, he worked at Lockheed for 18 years. He enjoyed horseback riding, and collecting horse riding equipment and western memorabilia. Survived by his wife of 56 years Ruth Fowler, daughter Karen Medina of Rosamond, Calif., grandchildren Jennifer Dye, Kaydence Dye, Cody Powers, Isabel Medina, and Evan Medina. Also survived by sisters Joyce Partain and Wanda Smart, both of Merced, Calif. He was preceded in death by his daughter Doylelene Powers in 2006. Viewing will be held from 3 to 7 p.m., Friday, Sept. 9, 2011, Services will be held at 12:30 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 10, 2011, both at Halley-Olsen-Murphy, 44802 N. Date Ave, Lancaster.
