CUTRONE, Thomas Jan. 17, 1918 ~ Aug. 23, 2011 Thomas Cutrone passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family on August 23, 2011. A very talented artist painter, Tom was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. Tom will always be remembered for his love of art and literature, avid historian, his physical strength, and his witty personality. Tom was born and raised in Newark, N.J. Tom lived in Lancaster for many years and was very active in the Antelope Valley Art Community. Known for his surrealistic paintings, his art has been exhibited in galleries, banks, and museums. Tom will be dearly missed and always in our hearts. Thomas Cutrone is predeceased by his devoted and loving wife of 61 years, Marie R. Cutrone. Thomas Cutrone leaves his loving daughters: Joan C. Levyssohn of Rocklin, Calif., Lorraine C. Ferry of Littlerock, Calif., and loving son: Nick T. Cutrone of Redondo Beach, Calif.; 3 loving grandsons: J. David Levyssohn, Edward Ferry and Joseph Ferry; his sisters Santa (Sarah) Stecher, Sabrina (Dolly) Spero, and Margie Knitowski; his brother Vito Cutrone. Visitation-Vigil will be held from 4 to 8 p.m., Monday, August 29, 2011, Service will be held at 12 noon, Tuesday, August 30, 2011, both at Joshua Memorial Park & Mortuary, Lancaster, Calif. Burial will be at Good Shepherd Catholic Cemetery, following services.
