OVERBERG, Patricia Shanley Born September 10, 1933, in Providence, Rhode Island. Passed away August 11, 2011, in Torrence, Calif. She grew up in Providence, R.I., and has lived in the Antelope Valley for 20 years. She retired as the Director of the Antelope Valley Domestic Violence Shelter. Survived by children; Virginia, Theresa, David and six grandchildren. In fulfillment of her wishes, ashes were spread in Oceanside Beach, Calif.
