DLUZAK, Sharleen Wade Went home to dance with Father God, her parents, two brothers, and her four sons in fields of love on July 19, 2011. 1 Peter 5:10 promises 'And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm, and steadfast.' Born Sharleen Lou Wade, June 27, 1951, in Lancaster, Calif., the eldest of Richard and Annettes eight children. 1969 graduate of Antelope Valley High School, Sharleen married her high school sweetheart, Ricky Dluzak, the following year. The couple lived abroad with the military before returning to California and raising a family near their families. The Dluzaks moved to the D.C. area seeking treatment for a rare blood disease, shared by both of their sons, and have made their home in Gaithersburg, M.D., for many years, where Sharleen has been on staff at the Church of the Redeemer. Sharleens exuberant and compassionate presence have been profoundly missed in her many areas of service; where Sharleen led various ministries at Church of the Redeemer, womens ministries, grief counseling, mission trips (locally as well as abroad), and so many more. Sharleen is survived by her husband Richard Dluzak and many 'heartÐ and God-adopted' children and grandchildren, whom she loved as her very own, his parents, brothers, sisters and their families, her brothers Chris, Tony, and Randy Wade, and two sisters and their families; Vicky Wyatt and Laurie Wade. We will celebrate the life and legacy of Sharleen Wade Dluzak with a viewing from 4 to 8 p.m., Sunday, July 31, 2011, at Halley-Olsen-Murphy Funeral Home 44802 N. Date Ave. A tribute to Sharleen Dluzaks Life and Legacy will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Monday, Aug. 1, 2011, at Desert Vineyard, 1011 East Ave. I, with reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Church of the Redeemer, the Rockville Pregnancy Center, or to family to offset expenses in honor of Sharleen.
