MINGHELLI, Leonard A. Born June 25, 1935, in Los Angeles, Calif. On July 12, 2011, he went home to be with the Lord. He passed at his home in the Ana Verde Hills, that was built by his own hands. He was a longtime resident of the Antelope Valley, coming here at the age of 16 years, in 1952, from Baldwin Park, Calif. His first job he stacked blocks at the Palmdale Block Company, located on Sierra Highway. He was a masonry contractor for 51 years in the Valley. He married Rose Marie on Sept. 25, 1954, and they had 56 beautiful years together. He served our country in the National Guard from 1953 to 1959. He enjoyed boating, skiing and racing cars at LACR. During retirement they enjoyed traveling. He is survived by his wife, Rose and 4 children, Linda, Leonard, Larry and Stacy, as well as his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sister, nieces and nephews. He will always be in our hearts and never forgotten. A private service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the American Lung Association.
