GUZMAN, Isabella B. Born March 20, 1941, in San Fernando, Calif. Passed away July 5, 2011, in Sylmar, Calif. She grew up in San Fernando, Calif., where she went to San Fernando High School. She has lived in the Antelope Valley since 1976. Worked as a aircraft assembler. She enjoyed fishing, camping, knitting and going to Las Vegas to play slot machines. Isabella enjoyed being with her grandkids and playing games with them, she also enjoyed going to sports activities with them. She was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother. Survived by her husband Reyes M. Guzman Jr., sons Ralph Guzman of Kansas City, Mo., James Guzman (Alida) of Lancaster, Calif., Edward Guzman of Palmdale, Calif., daughter Katherine Potter (Lonny) of Lancaster, Calif., 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Also survived by her 2 sisters Rose Silva and Helen Ponce, and 1 brother Sievy Parra, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Rafael and Josephine Parra, and son Jerry Guzman. Viewing will be held from 4 to 7 p.m., with a Rosary from 7 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, July 13, 2011, Services will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, July 14, 2011, both at Halley-Olsen-Murphy, Lancaster. Burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Burbank.
