LOGAN, GRACE
LOGAN, Grace Alice (ADAIR) Grace was born February 11, 1924, she passed away peacefully at home and went to the Lord on June 30, 2011. Grace was born in Compton, California, to Emery Addison Adair and Virginia Marie Diehl. Grace moved to the Antelope Valley with her family when she was two years old as one of the first homesteaders in the valley. She graduated from Antelope Valley High School in 1942. Grace married Robert Lee Logan on October 1942. They raised their children in Rosamond, Calif. Grace worked at Edwards AFB for 30 years and retired in 1982. Grace was an active member in numerous organizations through out her life, such as order of the Eastern Star, Emblem Club, White Shrine and Daughters of the Nile. Grace is preceded in death by her husband Robert Lee Logan; brothers Emery, John and Richard Adair. She is survived by her sisters Lois Creger of So. Carolina; Rosemarie Blackwell of Florida; and brother George Adair (Carol) of Sacramento Calif. She is also survived by her daughters, Judy Blum of Houston Texas; Sherry Jeffra (Jim) of Lancaster, Calif.; grandchildren Lisa Arebalo (Stacy) of Tehachapi, Calif; Jim Jeffra (Shelly) of San Francisco, Calif.; Barry Blum of Houston, Texas; and Robert Pierson (Laura) of Sacramento, Calif. Great grandchildren Amanda & Matthew Arebalo; Olivia and Sophia Jeffra Elisabeth and Emily Pierson. Grace will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her and she will forever be in our hearts. Services will be held Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at 11:00AM at Mumaw Funeral Home , 44663 N. Date Ave. Lancaster, Calif. Graveside services immediately following at Joshua Memorial Park, Lancaster, California. Visitation at Mumaw Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 5, 2011 from 5:00p.m. to 7p.m.
