SAMPSON, Brooks Brooks graduated from Lancaster High School in 1999. He enlisted in the United States Air Force and as a C-130 Crew Chief served three tours of duty in Afghanistan. Brooks is survived by his son Clay, parents Will Sampson and Joane Sampson, sister Amy Best, grandparents Richard and Rosalie Knutsen, along with many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins in both Nebraska and Washington. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on July 9, 2011, at Grace Chapel, 44648 15th St. W., Lancaster, Calif. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to: P.M.A.V. (Point Man Antelope Valley), P.O. Box 4874 Lancaster, CA 93539. (Please make sure the Memo line says: 'Brooks Memorial'). All donations will go to benefit the Point Man AV ministry and the AV Veterans Stand Down.
