GUILLERMO, Pedro Apelade Born May 6, 1917, in Binalanan, Philippines. Passed away June 23, 2011, in Lancaster, Calif. He grew up in Binalanan, Philippines. He served during World War II in the U.S.A.F.F.E. He has lived in the Antelope Valley for 15 years. He worked as a mechanic at Anderson Airforce Base in Guam, USA. He enjoyed bowling. Survived by sons Pete (Sonia) Guillermo of Baltimore, Maryland, Alexander (Mary Jane) Guillermo of Lancaster, Calif., daughters Carmelita Valerio of Alexandria, Maryland, Charito (Manny) Santos, Virginia (Gil) Olipane of Irvine, Calif., Remy (Larry) Sciongco of Chino Hills, Calif., 13 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Viewing will be held from 4 to 8 p.m., Sunday, June 26, 2011, at Joshua Memorial Park & Mortuary, Lancaster. Services will be held at 10 a.m., Monday June 27, 2011, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Lancaster.
