Obituary Notices and Memorials

ROBLES, Micheala Obiols On June 16, 2011, Micheala Obiols Robles passed from this life to an eternal life with her heavenly Father. Micheala was born September 9, 1927, and was proud to be a 5th Generation Californian. She was born and raised in Santa Paula, where she met the love of her life Angel Robles. They married and together raised their family in Fillmore. In 1987, Angel departed Micheala with his untimely death. He left this human life but continued to stay with her spiritually; this was evidenced by her continued expressions of love for Angel. Micheala worked as a store clerk, but more importantly as a homemaker. She defined the true sense of the word by raising her four boys David, James, Ernest, and Raymond and instilling integrity and the importance of hard work. In 1945, Micheala fell in love again with the Eastern Sierras where she continued to visit with her husband and children. She loved everything it had to offer, the mountains, trees, animals and most of all the fishing. In 1999, Micheala and her son Raymond moved to Bridgeport, California where they opened Michealas. To this day the restaurant remains open where family all over the world experience true family traditions. Micheala will be in the hearts of her family until they all meet again. She leaves behind four sons, Ernest, James, Raymond Robles, and Lee Venson, 9 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She now reunites with her love, Angel Robles and son David Robles where together they live in the holy kingdom where they will forever look upon us.Rosary will be held at 7:45 p.m., Tuesday, June 21, 2011, with Mass being held at 9:30 a.m., Wednesday, June 22, 2011, both at St. Francis of Assisi, 1048 W. Ventura St. Fillmore, Calif., followed by burial at Bardsdale Cemetery, Fillmore, Calif.
