SHEFFERD, Beverly Born March 9, 1932, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Passed away June 13, 2011, at her home in Lancaster, Calif. She grew up and went to school in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She has lived in the Antelope Valley for 7 years, was a mom and a homemaker. She enjoyed quilting, painting, playing cards, sewing, and was a award winning quilter in Oregon. Survived by her son John Shefferd of Ventura, Calif., daughters Debora Pedroza of Lancaster, Calif., Judi Navarrette (Rene) of Oxnard, Calif., 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by 2 sisters Roxie Cook of LaMirada and June Jewell of Napa Valley, 2 brothers Bill Heien of Huntington Beach, and Jimmy Stewart. Preceded in death by her parents Selma Stewart and William Heien. Services will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, June 21, 2011, at the California Mobile Home Park Clubhouse. Graveside service will be held at 1 p.m., July 2, 2011, at the Ivy Lawn Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Joshua Memorial Park & Mortuary, Lancaster.
