PHELPS, Charles 'Chuck' Born December 17, 1940, in Guthery, Oklahoma. Passed away June 5, 2011, in Palmdale, California. He grew up in Riverside, Calif., and Palmdale, Calif. He served our country in the U.S. Air Force. Chuck has lived in the Antelope Valley for 56 years, working for the United States Postal Service, in Palmdale, Calif., for 31 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and wood working. Survived by his wife Donna J. Phelps, children Rick Phelps, Tim Vallone, Tony Vallone, Natalie (Phelps) Lewis, Donna M. (Vallone) Smith, 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, and many other extended family members. There will be no services. In lieu of flowers please send donations to Caringbridge.org.
