THOMPSON, Shirley Yvonne Born October 7, 1934, in Memphis, Tennessee. Passed away May 30, 2011, in Quartz Hill, Calif. She grew up in Memphis and has lived in the Antelope Valley for 17 years. Shirley was a homemaker who enjoyed crocheting and cooking. Survived by her husband James Thompson Sr., son James (Marline) Thompson of Lancaster, Calif., grandchildren James Anthony Thompson, Nicole Yvonne Matheu, Danielle Yvette Thompson and Jake Matzenour, great-grandchildren Melani Thompson, Jasmine Thompson, James Thompson, Adrian Matheu, Bradley Hagedorn and Emma Hagedorn on the way.
